National selection
Voice of Bangladesh — September 30, 2026, on NTV.
Voice of Bangladesh is confirmed for Wednesday 30 September 2026, hosted by singer and actor Tahsan Khan. Twelve artists will compete — the largest field of any Eurovision Asia national final — with the winner decided by public vote (the jury's exact role hasn't been published). The date moved here from an earlier-reported 23 August, which passed with no selection.
Music scene
Bangladesh has no prior route into the Eurovision family, and its contemporary pop and band-rock scene — built around Dhaka's recording industry — is largely unknown to the international Eurovision audience. Whatever wins Voice of Bangladesh will be a genuine unknown quantity to juries elsewhere in the contest.
Worth knowing
- Largest field of any national final so far: 12 competing artists
- Closes out the September selection season
- Artists, songs, and whether entries will be in Bengali or English are all still unannounced
