Methodology

The win-probability and odds figures on this site right now are placeholders — round numbers we've used to build the pages before real data exists. This page explains how the real version will work once it's live, so the method is on record before the numbers are.

How win probability will be calculated

Each country's win probability blends two kinds of public signal: betting-market pricing, where one exists, and fan sentiment. As of this writing, no meaningful betting market has actually opened on Eurovision Asia — mainstream bookmakers haven't extended coverage to it yet, and the earliest a real market is likely to form is mid-October, once every country has picked its entry. See our full breakdown of why no market has opened for the detail. Until one does, these figures lean mainly on fan-poll sentiment — voting and buzz from public Eurovision fan communities and our own site polls — along with national selection results as they land. Once betting-market pricing exists, we'll pull sportsbook prices, convert them to implied probabilities, and aggregate across multiple books to smooth out any single bookmaker's bias, then blend that in alongside sentiment. The result is a single blended probability per country, rescaled so the full field adds up to 100%.

How the trend arrows will work

The trend column compares a country's current blended probability against where it stood roughly a week earlier. A meaningful rise shows an upward arrow, a meaningful drop shows a downward one, and anything that's held steady in between shows flat. It's a short-term signal, not a long-term forecast — a country can trend up and still sit well down the table.

What this isn't

These are independent, fan-made estimates — not official data from the EBU, Voxovation, or any broadcaster, and not a guarantee of anything. Treat them the way you'd treat any other odds: informed, but not certain.

How often it updates

Once live, figures will be recalculated regularly as new information comes in — national final results, market movement, and other news — with updates happening more frequently as November 14 gets closer.
