National Selections
Each participating broadcaster picks its entry through its own national final or internal selection process in the months before the contest. Malaysia is the exception this cycle — broadcaster Media Prima opted for an internal selection instead of a public final, and has already confirmed Aina Abdul as the country's entry.
Every national final on this list includes a "Rest of the World" vote alongside the home audience, so international fans get a say in the result too — not just viewers in the country actually holding the final. See our full voting explainer for how it actually works, including the rule most people miss.

Note on Bhutan: broadcaster BBS originally ran an early selection show called Druk Dra in 2025 before organizers asked them to pause it while the wider format was finalized. Rhythm of Bhutan was the show that eventually replaced it, and Bhutan is now the first country with a confirmed entry: Nyendra, performing "Lhayi Semo." Read the full Druk Dra story for how that pause actually happened.
