This policy explains what information escpredictions.com collects, how it's used, and what choices you have. This is an independent, fan-run site — it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), Voxovation, or any participating broadcaster.

What we collect today

As of this writing, this site does not run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and it doesn't use cookies. The only personal information we receive is whatever you choose to send us through the contact form, which opens your own email client and sends directly to us — we don't store it on a server, since this site has no backend or database.

What changes once analytics and ads are added

We plan to add Google Analytics and Google AdSense to this site to understand traffic and help cover hosting costs. This section describes what that will mean once those are live, so this policy is accurate in advance rather than needing a rewrite later.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure things like page views, session length, and which pages and countries are popular, so we can tell what's actually useful to readers. Google AdSense, as a third-party vendor, uses its own advertising cookies to serve ads on this site and, where permitted, to personalize them based on your browsing activity — including activity on sites other than this one. Ad personalization

Once AdSense is active, the ads you see may be selected based on your interests, inferred from cookies and your browsing history across the web. Google's own policies govern how this data is collected and used; we don't have access to it beyond aggregate, anonymized reporting.

You'll be able to opt out of personalized advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com, or opt out of personalized ads from participating providers generally at aboutads.info. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies entirely in their settings — doing so may still let you read the site, just without personalized ads.

Children's privacy

This site is about a music competition and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-party links

Pages on this site link out to broadcasters, official contest sources, and platforms like YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we'd encourage you to check — we're not responsible for how they handle your data.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes — for instance, once analytics or ads actually go live — we'll update this page and the date at the top.
