Biography
Bucks Fizz are an English pop group put together in January 1981 for the contest itself, with four singers: Bobby G, Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolan and Jay Aston. “Making Your Mind Up” won in Dublin that April, helped by a dance routine in which two of the singers had their skirts whipped away to show shorter ones underneath.
It was the first of three British number ones, followed by “The Land of Make Believe” and “My Camera Never Lies”, and the group became one of the best-selling acts of the 1980s in the United Kingdom.
