Biography
MFÖ, short for Mazhar Fuat Özkan, was a Turkish pop and rock band of three, Mazhar Alanson, Fuat Güner and Özkan Uğur, many of whose songs poke fun at Turkish types or send up prejudice. The band sang for Turkey twice: “Didai didai dai” finished joint 14th in Gothenburg in 1985, and “Sufi (Hey Ya Hey)” 15th in Dublin in 1988.
