Biography
Salvador Sobral is a Portuguese singer who won the 2017 contest in Kyiv with “Amar pelos dois”, written by Luísa Sobral. It was Portugal’s first win, 53 years after its first entry: the longest wait any country has had. The song won both the jury vote and the public vote, and its 758 points are still the highest score a winner has had.
