Not yet announced. Vietnam has been a confirmed participant since the contest's 31 March 2026 launch — it was in the original leaked country list — but VTV3 has published no selection date, format or artists. Organisers have indicated all national finals should conclude by mid-October, which leaves a shrinking window. Plausible explanations include an internal selection (as Malaysia used), a late compressed final, or a broadcaster schedule that simply hasn't made room yet — but none of these has been confirmed.
Music scene
V-pop has built real regional traction in Southeast Asia over the past decade, which makes VTV3's silence more notable rather than less — this is one of the more commercially dynamic music markets in the contest, not a small one struggling to organise a show.

- A separate broadcaster, HTV, briefly listed an unrelated "Eurovision Asia" programme in 2025, before VTV3 was ever confirmed — the two are not connected
