Host broadcaster

Channel 3 both ran Thailand's own national selection and serves as host broadcaster for the entire contest — the only broadcaster in the field with that dual role.

Mang & Daou win Thailand's Chosen One with "Aroma"

Thailand's Chosen One aired on Sunday 27 September at 18:00 ICT from Centerpoint Entertainment in Bangkok, hosted by K. Nui Sujira and DJ Nui, with ten acts competing. The result was decided by a three-way split: 40% professional jury, 40% Thai public, 20% Rest of the World.

Mang & Daou won with "Aroma" — Thai title Glinratree (กลิ่นราตรี) — a duet sung in Thai. Gam Wichayanee and D Gerrard completed the announced top three; Channel 3 published no points. The full field and what was and wasn't released are in our Thailand's Chosen One results.

Who Mang & Daou are

Mang — Piyatida Lekklang, born 3 May 2000 — debuted in 2021 in the co-ed group Bamm under LIT Entertainment and has released solo music since 2024. She is also one of the five credited writers of "Aroma."

Daou — Pittaya Saechua, born 14 January 1998 in Bangkok — won the survival show LAZ iCON in 2021, debuted with the boy band LAZ1 the following year, and has since built an acting career with lead roles in Love in Translation, Century of Love and The Wicked Game. More in our profile of Mang & Daou.

Hosting the Grand Final

The Grand Final is set for Saturday 14 November 2026 at One Bangkok Forum, confirmed by organisers on 21 September. The venue opened in 2024, holds up to 6,000 depending on layout, and sits at 197 Wireless Road, Pathum Wan, facing Lumphini Park inside the One Bangkok development. The contest is organised by the EBU and Voxovation, produced by S2O Productions, with Assaf Blecher as executive producer and Marcus Tang as Managing Director Asia.

Woody Milintachinda and Cindy Bishop were announced as presenters on 25 September, and the show starts at 20:30 Bangkok time. More in our piece on the hosts, and every local start time is on the how to watch page.

Tickets have been on sale since 1–2 October for two shows: the live Grand Final (US$50 to US$199) and a full Preview Show the night before, Friday 13 November (US$35 to US$150). Categories and how to buy are in our tickets and venue guide.

The result is decided by a 50/50 split between professional juries and public voting, under the same rules as every national final: songs under three minutes, a maximum of six performers on stage.

What the winner actually gets

The Eurovision Asia winner performs as a guest — not a competitor — at Eurovision 2027 in Burgas, Bulgaria. That directly settles a rumour that circulated in June claiming the winner would compete there instead; we traced how that started in our 2027 rumour explainer.

Channel 3 announced a top three without points. Sources disagree on which of Gam Wichayanee and D Gerrard was second, so we list both as top three rather than pick an order.
