Every Artist Confirmed for Eurovision Asia 2026 So Far — Updated After Every National Final

Ten of eleven countries have a complete entry — an artist and a song. Only Cambodia is still to choose, on 17 October. This page tracks all of them as they land, and we update it after each national final.

Bhutan — Nyendra, “Lhayi Semo” (The Angel)

Selected: 11 August 2026, Rhythm of Bhutan

A 24-year-old singer-songwriter and producer based in Thimphu, working across pop, folk-pop, acoustic and R&B, who writes and produces independently in both English and Dzongkha. The first artist ever selected for Eurovision Asia, and still the only one whose national final published a full scoreboard.

Philippines — Carmelle, “Sobra-Sobra”

Selected: 30 August 2026, Pili, Pinas! Philippine Selection Night

Carmelle won a ten-song field at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City, ahead of SAGA (“Broken Beyond Repair”) in second and JM Dela Cerna & Marielle Montellano (“Mapadama”) in third. Before this win she was best known as the Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown 2025 champion and The Voice Kids Philippines 2019 runner-up.

South Korea — JUNHEE, “Deep Dive”

Selected: 4 September 2026, Korea’s Next Wave

JUNHEE won an eight-act field, ahead of Sojeong Shim (“Eheradiya”) in second and Angel Noise (“(NAN NAYA!)”) in third. JUNHEE — Park Junhee, 32 — was a member of boy band A.C.E. from 2017 to 2025 and has been solo since.

Laos — Thinla, “Bae”

Artist announced: 13 September 2026, internal selection · Song chosen: 24 September, Sieng Lao: The One

Thinla was picked internally; viewers and a jury then chose “Bae” over “Star” and “Water.” It is sung in English and Lao, and she co-wrote it. An established regional artist who has performed at ASEAN Summits and toured the United States.

Thailand — Mang & Daou, “Aroma”

Selected: 27 September 2026, Thailand’s Chosen One

The host country’s entry is a Thai-language duet between two solo artists: Mang, of LIT Entertainment, and Daou, a singer and actor who won the survival show LAZ iCON in 2021. They won a ten-act final in which Gam Wichayanee and D Gerrard — the masked “Handsome Wolf” — completed the top three.

Bangladesh — Beatmosphere, “Tumi Ele” (You Came)

Selected: 30 September 2026, Voice of Bangladesh

An a cappella and beatbox collective formed in 2009, performing as six in Bangkok because of the contest’s six-performer limit. They finished ahead of Pulak Adhikary and Vintage Theory. The song is in Bengali, with no instruments at all.

Vietnam — Tóc Tiên, “Em Tiên”

Artist confirmed: 16 September 2026, internal selection · Song chosen: 3 October, The Sound of Vietnam

A two-decade star of Vietnamese pop, selected internally by VTV. “Em Tiên,” sung in Vietnamese, was chosen from five songs written for her by five separate creative teams.

Malaysia — Aina Abdul, “Bluest Sky”

Artist announced: 15 August 2026, at Anugerah Juara Lagu 40 · Song released: 8 October

The only fully internal selection in the contest: no public vote on the artist or the song. Aina Abdul wrote “Bluest Sky” herself, a power ballad mostly in English with some Malay, and it came out on 8 October with a listening session in Kuala Lumpur. (We had given the release date as 9 October, as reported in advance.)

Nepal — Pratik Himal Rai, “Ananta Maya”

Selected: 7 October 2026, Nepal Decides

A singer-songwriter with more than a decade in music, working across ballads, slow rock and Nepali folk-pop, who competed on The Voice of Nepal in 2025. He won an eleven-act final with a song he wrote himself, ahead of Allam Aadesh (“Byakta”) and Bullet Flo x Preeti Kaur (“Golden Danfe”). The show had been moved from 19 September after the 26 August flash flooding.

Mongolia — Beck, “Light”

Artist announced: 1 October 2026 · Song chosen: 10 October, Mongolia’s Chosen One

Selected internally, then given a public vote on his song: four of them, not the five we reported beforehand. “Light”, sung in Mongolian, beat “Chamguigeer (Without You)”, “One of a Kind” and “Winner”, with a 40% jury, 40% Mongolian public and 20% Rest of the World vote. Beck is a singer, actor and host who debuted in 2007 and presents on CNBC Mongolia.

How to follow along

Every national final streams free on the official Eurovision YouTube channel, and each carries a Rest of the World vote you can take part in from anywhere — up to eight free votes on the official Eurovision Asia website, spread across at least three songs. See our voting guide.

When the field will be complete

On 17 October, when Cambodia chooses — exactly four weeks before the Grand Final at One Bangkok Forum on 14 November.
